Micro wedding and elopement photographer in Kent
Small wedding, big day. Four hours of relaxed, natural photography for registry office ceremonies, intimate weddings and elopements anywhere in Kent and the south east, for £397 including VAT.
Micro wedding photography for £397
The micro wedding package covers 4 hours of wedding photography and approximately 300 edited photos, depending on the day, for £397 complete, including VAT. Printed stationery isn’t included in this package, but can be added if you’d like it. That’s enough time for arrivals, your ceremony, confetti, family groups, relaxed couple portraits and the start of your celebration. If you’d like longer, the twilight package gives you 6 hours and the full-day package gives you 8, both with printed stationery included.
Small weddings across Kent and the south east
I photograph micro weddings and elopements all over Kent, from registry offices in Maidstone, Canterbury, Tunbridge Wells, Ashford, Sevenoaks and the Medway towns to country houses, pubs, barns, gardens and beaches. I also travel across London, Sussex, Surrey and Essex, so wherever your small wedding is, I can be there.
Intimate, relaxed and natural
With a small group, everyone is part of the photos. I keep family groups quick and painless, then step back and capture the hugs, the laughter and the quiet moments as they happen. For couple portraits, we’ll slip away for ten minutes somewhere peaceful, usually once your guests have headed off to the meal.
Elopement photography in Kent
Eloping doesn’t mean missing out on beautiful photos. Whether it’s just the two of you and two witnesses at a registry office, or a quiet ceremony followed by portraits on the coast, I’ll capture it calmly and without fuss. After the ceremony we can head somewhere meaningful for portraits, such as a woodland path, a favourite pub or the Kent coast, so your elopement photos feel personal.
Registry office weddings
Registry office ceremony slots are short, so it helps to have a photographer who knows how they run. Closer to home, I photograph a dozen or more weddings a year at Oakwood House in Maidstone, and I bring the same calm, organised approach to every registry office and venue, wherever it is. Every wedding is shot on two cameras, including a 100-megapixel Fuji GFX medium format camera, so every moment has a backup.

Questions people ask
What is a micro wedding?
A micro wedding is a smaller celebration, usually with a few close family and friends, often a registry office ceremony followed by a meal or drinks. It’s intimate and relaxed, and the photos tend to be full of genuine moments because everyone knows each other.
What's included in the micro wedding package?
Four hours of wedding photography and approximately 300 edited photos, depending on the day, for £397 including VAT. Printed stationery isn’t included, but can be added. Four hours is usually enough to cover getting ready or arrivals, the ceremony, confetti, family groups, relaxed couple portraits and the start of your meal or drinks. Every wedding is shot on two cameras, including a 100-megapixel Fuji GFX medium format camera.
Do you know Oakwood House in Maidstone?
Yes. I photograph a dozen or more weddings a year at Oakwood House, so I know the ceremony rooms, the gardens and the brick arch where I take most of my couple portraits. Four hours covers the ceremony and portraits with time to follow you to your reception.
Can you follow us from the ceremony to our meal or reception?
Yes. Many couples marry at a registry office and then head to a restaurant, pub or venue nearby. I’ll travel with you within the four hours so the celebration is covered as well as the ceremony.
What if we need longer than four hours?
The twilight package gives you 6 hours for £697 and the full-day package gives you 8 hours for £997, both with printed stationery included. Just tell me your plans and I’ll suggest the best fit.
Do you photograph elopements?
Yes. Whether it’s just the two of you and your two witnesses or a handful of guests, the package suits elopements across Kent, from registry offices to beaches and country parks. Four hours is plenty for an elopement, with time for portraits somewhere special afterwards.
What's the difference between an elopement and a micro wedding?
An elopement is usually just the couple and their witnesses, sometimes kept secret until afterwards. A micro wedding is small but includes close family and friends, typically up to around 20 guests. Both are photographed in the same relaxed way, and the same package covers either.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Kent and the south east. I’m based in Maidstone and photograph micro weddings and elopements across Kent, including Canterbury, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Ashford, Dartford, Folkestone and the Medway towns, as well as London, Sussex, Surrey and Essex.
