Rapid Timelapse is a free, open-source application designed to work seamlessly alongside RapidRaw (an open-source alternative to Adobe Lightroom).

Similar to LRTimelapse, Rapid Timelapse edits RapidRaw’s sidecar files rather than Lightroom's, allowing you to seamlessly export your frames into a timelapse video. It features keyframe-to-keyframe interpolation complete with radial and linear gradient tracking.

Built with assistance from Claude, the app runs natively on Linux, macOS, and Windows. You can find the download links on the right, along with the GitHub repository for bug reports and feature requests.

Rapid Timelapse is currently at v1.0 beta (released September 20th 2026), with plenty of new features planned for the future. Tested on RapidRAW 1.64.
