Rapid Culling
I found myself keeping an old version of Capture One around just for photo culling, so with that in mind, I developed Rapid Culling.
I've tried the AI methods like Aftershoot but I found that I still wanted to check it's selection afterwards, as AI just doesn't understand human emotion like we do, so this is the next best thing.
I can cull in RapidCulling in a similar time to what it takes in Ai, with confidence that the right photos have been selected. The main goal was to have a culling app that groups by similarity and is fast and responsive.
I'm also a fan of Linux, which didn't have a modern photo culling application, until now! It can become a great companion for opensource photo editors like RapidRaw, Darktable and RawTherapee as well as the usual proprietary apps like Adobe Lightroom.
RapidCulling is new and beta so please report any bugs at my Github, where you can also download.

App is beta so currently unsigned. Mac users will need to try to open the app once (it'll be blocked), then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to the security notice about RapidCulling, and click Open Anyway. Or simply enter the terminal command below:
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/RapidCulling.app
Windows users, more ->run anyway.
