A summer wedding at Chilston Park
This was a bright summer celebration. We started with the couple on the forecourt in front of the manor house, then moved inside to the grand staircase, which gave two standout photos: one from the foot of the stairs, and one looking down from the landing through the carved banisters.
Outside, the lake and fountain made a beautiful backdrop for the couple, the bride and her bridesmaid, and family portraits. Everyone gathered by the entrance for the group photo, and the day was finished off with the couple and their classic wedding car on the forecourt.

Where are the best photo spots at Chilston Park Hotel?
The carved wooden staircase in the entrance hall is a real showpiece, and looking down on it from the landing gives a striking, unusual angle. Outside, the lake with its fountain and white railings is lovely for couple and family portraits, and the gravel forecourt shows off the full front of the manor house.
Where do the group photos work best?
By the entrance or on the forecourt, with the red-brick house behind everyone. There’s plenty of space, and guests don’t have to go far.
What if it rains at Chilston Park?
The grand staircase and the lounges make a great indoor backup, with plenty of character for portraits, so a wet day still gives you beautiful photos.
