In this video I showcase some of my favourite shots from the last 6 months using the Samyang 35-150mm telephoto lens on my Panasonic Lumix S5ii.

I've used it for a series of London event photographer gigs in January - Feb 2025 as well as Kent wedding photographer bookings in both December 2024 and Feb 2025. It's a great versatile lens, capable of bokeh across the focal range but should you swap it for your prime lenses? Let's find out.

I'll also be creating a follow up video to this on how it has performed for studio portraits so be sure to subscribe to my youtube channel to see that also! Before I go, I would like to mention that continuous focus tracks very well on the Panasonic Lumix S5ii, something I was concerned about when testing briefly last year at the camera world event. I forgot to touch on this in the video. Tested in both well lit and low lit environments with and without on camera speedlight.
