With the moon setting at 6.36am, I had an early start to give myself at least 30 mins of capture time.
I set my alarm for 5am and was out the door at 5.20am to do the small 15 minute journey to Detling. There was some visible haze in the sky but I was optimistic that it would show through, and it did!
This building/barn/facility was used for RAF training in WW2. It apparently has the high roof as films of aircrafts were projected onto the ceiling for training. Post WW2 I believe it was used for parachute storage. When I find some further information on the history I shall reference it here.
It is located just behind the Shell garage on Sittingbourne road, Maidstone bound.
