After pondering whether to send the Samyang 35-150 L mount lens back, I decided to try this simple fix and it works perfectly, it almost has a factory look and is near on undetectable. You basically apply a strong O ring just below the zoom ring to add a little bit of friction. These can be purchased for £1.65 on Ebay. This mod applies to all mounts of the Samyang 35-150 F2-2.8, whether it's the Sony FE or Panasonic/Leica L mount alliance version.
